Product information
Clinical waste bins are supplied sterile triple wrapped, ready for easy transfer into a controlled area. Apart from the 1 litre bins, lids are supplied detached (the lid is
contained within primary pouch next to the bin).
Bins are manufactured under BS EN ISO 23907 – Sharps Injury Protection.
This product is intended for use by a pharmacy where clear identification of cytotoxic and cytostatic materials is required ensuring correct disposal of clinical waste.
AMD offer sterile cleanroom compatible triple-packed bins of 1 Litre, 2.5 Litre, 5 Litre and 7 Litre volumes and in two types, dependant on waste stream material.
Yellow Lid
For sharps including those contaminated with medicines other than those that are cytotoxic and cytostatic.
Purple Lid
For sharps including those contaminated with cytotoxic and cytostatic medicines.
